Carnival.

Today I will talk a little about the carnival, and to be held within a month, in my hometown.

The carnival is a public celebration, which takes place before the Christian Lent, with a variable date (February and March depending on the year), and combining some elements such as costumes, parades and street parties. Their common characteristic is to be a time of permissiveness and some slippage.
On the night of Carnaval anything goes and the legend that is why masks are made.

The celebration of the world is the biggest carnival in Rio de Janeiro, others are internationally famous carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Cadiz in Spain, Cologne, Germany, in Oruro, Bolivia, Venice in Italy, Carnival of Barranquilla and Pasto in Colombia, Veracruz and Mazatlan in Mexico.

Horoscope.

The horoscope and natal chart, are prediction methods not proven based on the position of the stars at the time of birth. 

The term derives from the Greek "ὥρα" (time, "time"), and "σκοπέω" (skopeo, "examine"). 

There is no evidence or scientific studies to support the validity of the predictions obtained by any of the different versions of this practice. 

Some people argue that belief in the effectiveness of the horoscope is enhanced by a normal psychological phenomenon (based on automatic search for patterns by the brain) in people, for which the matches are easy to remember and forget the faults of coincidence. 

Many cultures used similar forms of prediction based on its own calendars in direct relation to the stars. The Mayan civilization, for example.

Gossip Girl.

Gossip Girl is an American television teen drama based on the homonymous novel by Cecily von Ziegesar. The series was created by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, premiere on the CW on 19 September 2007 and ended on 17 December 2012 .

Narrated by the omnisecent "blogger", "Gossip Girl", played by Kristen Bell, the series revolves around the lives of privileged young adults on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York city. The series begins with the return of the girl "it" of the Upper East Side, Serena van der Woodsen from a boarding school in Cornwall. Upon his return, Blair Waldorf, her best friend, do not receive a good way, for having sex with her boyfriend before leaving. The story also follows Chuck Bass , the "bad " boy of the Upper East Side, Nate Archibald, Chuck 's friend and boyfriend Blair for several years, Dan Humphrey, the best friend of Dan , Vanessa Abrams, and sister Dan, Jenny Humphrey.

The success of Gossip Girl international adaptations carried outside the United States. The series has received numerous nominations for various awards, including 18 Teen Choice Awar.
